When You Enter This Space

Tiptoe quietly;

Don’t wake, move, or even touch anything around you.

Let them be, placed neatly and tucked nicely where they are;

Let these feelings be.

Let them gain life with these written words;

And gain life with these written words they shall now forevermore be.

Tiptoe gently;

Don’t rouse, break, or even graze anything around you.

Let them be, placed neatly and tucked nicely where they are;

Let these feelings be.

Let them gain freedom in these written words, let them finally have a place to know no bounds;

And gain freedom in these written words they shall now forevermore be.

Tiptoe silently;

Don’t speak, chatter, or even whisper in this space around you.

Let them be, placed neatly and tucked nicely where they are;

Let these feelings be.

Let them finally be heard and felt for once in a way they rightfully deserve to be;

And finally be heard and felt in these written words they shall now forevermore be.

Tiptoe calmly;

Don’t ask, judge, or even question anything around you.

Let them be, placed neatly and tucked nicely where they are;

Let these feelings be.

Let them finally speak in great length, uninterrupted;

And speak in great length, uninterrupted, with these written words they shall now forevermore be.

Tiptoe softly;

Don’t look, stare, or even glance at anything around you.

Let me be, all laid bare, honest,

in, within, and between these written words;

Let my feelings be.

Let me be contained in my freedom to be lost,

To feel what has been unfelt, untold, and unkempt,

To think as deep and as long as my soul cares to find refuge;

And free to be lost, to feel, and to think,

I shall now forevermore be.
