You are the exclamation mark to the happiest sentence I could ever write,
The comma to my running nervous thoughts,
And the full stop for when I needed to be grounded
from flying off to far.
You are everything I may ever need,
and anything I could dream of;
The sentences to my stanzas,
And the stanzas to my sonnets.
You are every bit of well-placed inverted commas, hyphens,
colons, and semicolons
to my prose.
You are my everlasting,
My ever ours,
And my ever for ever,
